Ytterby and its Elements

Yttrium (symbol Y, atomic number 39) is only one of four elements that were named after the village of Ytterby (meaning 'outer village'), where they were discovered in a rock found in its quarry. The other three are terbium (Tb, 65), erbium (Er, 68) and ytterbium (Yb, 70).
